UFC President Dana White was caught on video slapping his wife at a bar in Cabo San Lucas, which led to MMA personalities of all kinds sharing their thoughts on the situation.
There were some in the MMA world who defended White and there were some who wanted White to be held responsible for his actions.
Former UFC Interim Lightweight Champion Tony Ferguson, in a now deleted tweet, compared how White treated his wife to how the UFC President treats the UFC fighters (transcript via Bloody Elbow):
It’s gonna take a class action lawsuit to let some these so called untouchables get a taste of there own medicine *mack* If this fucker treated his lady in public like that, how do you think he treats his fighters undeneath #askme @DisneyStudios @danawhite @ufc TUF Chanp

Ferguson himself was put on a restraining order by his wife in 2019, but it was dropped a month later.
