Tomorrow night’s UFC Fight Night 221 card will go down with one less bout because a featherweight division attraction between Ricardo Ramos and Austin Longo has been cancelled after Ramos missed weight for the bout by 8 pounds.
The UFC issued the following statement on the matter:
“Ricardo Ramos weighed-in eight pounds over the featherweight limit and as a result his fight with Austin Lingo has been cancelled.”
There is no word yet as to whether or not the UFC will move a fight from the prelims to replace the Lingo/Ramos bout, which was scheduled to happen on the main card.
