A middleweight division attraction has been added to UFC 290 according to Gore’s Instagram as Bo Nickal faces Tresean Gore.

Nickal (4-0-0) made his UFC debut back at UFC 285 earlier this month, defeating Jamie Pickett by first round submission. Nickal also competed twice on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Donovan Beard and Zachary Borrego. Nickal has competed a total of six times as an amateur and pro fighter, with none of those bouts getting past the opening round.

Gore (4-2-0) has won just one of three under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Josh Fremd at UFC Fight Night 213. Gore competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 29, making it to the finals before being ousted from the reality show due to a knee injury. Gore competed three times in 2022, making it the most active year of his professional MMA career.

UFC 290 takes place on Saturday, July 8 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event announced at this time. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+ pay-per-view.
