Alex Caceres has been pulled from UFC Fight Night San Antonio according to Marcel Dorff, replacing him against Nate Landwehr is Austin Lingo.
Landwehr (16-4-0) enters the contest riding a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Ludovit Klein and David Onama. Landwehr hasn’t been defeated in over two years, with his last loss coming to Julian Erosa at UFC Fight Night 185. Landwehr has competed 20 times as a professional MMA fighter and eight of those encounters went the distance.
Lingo (9-1-0) also enters the encounter riding a two fight winning streak, defeating Jacob Kilburn and Luis Saldana. Lingo is competing for the first time in over a year, last competing at UFC On ESPN 29 in August of 2021. Lingo has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came to Youseff Zalal at UFC 247 in February of 2020.
UFC Fight Night San Antonio takes place on Saturday, March 25 from the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas with Marlon Vera and Cory Sandhagen headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on ESPN.
