A flyweight division attraction has been added to the June 3 UFC Fight Night card according to MMA Fighting as #3 Kai Kara-France faces #7 Amir Albazi.
Kara-France (24-10-0) has won three of his last five under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Rogerio Bontorin, Cody Garbrandt and Askar Askarov. Kara-France is competing for the first time since losing a UFC Interim Flyweight Title bout to Brandon Moreno at UFC 277. Kara-France has picked up 24 wins as a professional MMA fighter and 11 of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
Albazi (16-1-0) is undefeated under the UFC banner, picking up wins over Malcolm Gordon, Zhalgas Zhumagulov, Francisco Figueiredo and Alessandro Costa. Albazi has suffered a single loss as a professional MMA fighter and that came to Jose Torres at Brave CF 23 in April of 2019. Albazi has competed 17 times as a professional MMA fighter and just three of those encounters went the distance.
UFC Fight Night is scheduled for Saturday, June 3 from a location to be announced and with a main event to be announced. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
