A featherweight division attraction has been added to Bellator 295 according to MMA Junkie as Aaron Pico faces Otto Rodrigues.
Pico (10-4-0) has won six of his last seven under the Bellator banner, with those wins coming over Daniel Carey, Chris Hatley Jr., John De Jesus, Aiden Lee, Justin Gonzalez and Adli Edwards. Pico hasn’t won a fight in almost a year, with his last win coming at Bellator 277 in April of 2022. Pico has earned 10 victories as a professional MMA fighter and seven of those have come by way of KO/TKO.
Rodrigues (13-1-0) is making his Bellator debut in this encounter and does so on the strength of a 12 fight winning streak. Rodrigues is also competing for the first time in over a year, as his last bout happened at LFA 112 in July of 2021. Rodrigues has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came to Rogerio Silva De Souza at Shooto Brazil 6 in April of 2008.
Bellator 295 takes place on Saturday, April 22 from the Neil S. Blaisdell Center in Honolulu, Hawaii with Raufeon Stots and Patchy Mix headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Showtime.
