Former two division UFC champion Conor McGregor has had an interesting relationship with USADA over the last year and change. The fighter was not only able to allegedly escape USADA's mandatory drug testing for some time, but he also believes that he will only have to pass a pair of drug tests before fighting again, instead of having to be available for testing for six months before competing again.
If there is one person you shouldn't be asked about the McGregor/USADA situation, it's UFC President Dana White, who doesn't care much about the USADA stuff anymore.
“Um, have you ever heard of (UFC senior VP of athlete health and performance) Jeff Novitzky? Ask him these questions. I don’t give a sh*t about any of that stuff anymore. That’s his problem. I don’t get involved in the drug testing situation whatsoever. I know nothing about it, and I don’t want to know nothing about it. I leave it to the expert. He’s the expert in this thing, and you guys call him and interview him anytime about it," says White after UFC 286 (transcript via Matt Erickson & Abbey Subhan of MMA Junkie).
