There is a new fighter heading to the UFC Welterweight Division according to Sherdog as the promotion has reportedly signed Jose Henrique Souza.
Souza (6-1-0) did compete on Dana White's Contender Series, suffering a third round TKO loss to Yusaku Kinoshita. Souza also competed once before in the Legacy Fighting Alliance, defeating Pedro Oliveira by split decision at LFA 132. Souza has earned six wins as a professional MMA fighter and five of those have come by way of KO/TKO.
No word has been given yet as to when Souza will make his promotional debut or whom that bout will come against.
