A flyweight division attraction has been added to the June 24 UFC Fight Night card according to the Iridium Sports Agency as Tatsuro Taira faces Kleydson Rodrigues.
Taira (13-0-0) has already won three bouts under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Carlos Candelario, CJ Vergara and Jesus Santos Aguilar. Taira is still undefeated as a professional MMA fighter and that streak has already lasted almost five years. Taira has earned 13 wins as a professional MMA fighter and seven of those have come by submission.
Rodrigues (8-2-0) has won just one of two under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Shannon Ross at UFC 284. Rodrigues competed on Dana White's Contender Series, defeating Santo Curatolo by unanimous decision. Rodrigues has competed 10 times as a professional MMA fighter and four of those bouts went the distance.
UFC Fight Night is scheduled for Saturday, June 24 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event announced at this time. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
