A welterweight division attraction has been added to the May 13 UFC Fight Night card according to MMA Junkie as Tim Means faces Alex Morono.
Means (32-14-1-1NC) enters the contest riding a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to Kevin Holland and Max Griffin. Means hasn't picked up a win in almost two years, with his last victory coming over Nicolas Dalby at UFC Fight Night 190 in June of 2021. Means has earned 32 wins as a professional MMA fighter and 17 of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
Morono (22-8-0-1NC) has won four of his last five in the UFC, with those wins coming over Donald Cerrone, David Zawada, Mickey Gall and Matthew Semelsberger. Morono competed just two times in 2022, making it his last active year as a professional MMA fighter since 2019. Morono has suffered eight losses as a professional MMA fighter and five of those came by way of decision.
UFC Fight Night is scheduled for Saturday, May 13 from a location to be announced with Anthony Smith and Johnny Walker headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
