By David Tees on 3/28/2023 1:37 PM

Ignacio Bahamondes has a new opponent for UFC 287 after the withdrawal of Niklas Motta and MMA Junkie is reporting that Trey Ogden is that new opponent.

Bahamondes (13-4-0) enters the contest riding a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Roosevelt Roberts and Zhu Rong. Bahamondes hasn't been defeated in almost two years, with that last loss coming to John Makdessi at UFC On ABC 2 in April of 2021. Bahamondes has picked up 13 wins as a professional MMA fighter and nine of those came by KO/TKO.

Ogden (16-5-0) has won just one of two under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Daniel Zellhuber at UFC Fight Night 210. Ogden has picked up 16 wins during his professional MMA career and 11 of them came by submission. Ogden has competed twice in the UFC and both of those encounters went to the judges scorecards.

UFC 287 takes place on Saturday, April 8 from the Miami-Dade Arena in Miami, Florida with Alex Pereira and Israel Adesanya headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+ pay-per-view.
