A light heavyweight division attraction has been added to the May 13 UFC Fight Night card according to MMA Mania as Carlos Ulberg faces Ihor Potieria.
Ulberg (7-1-0) enters the contest riding a three fight winning streak, defeating Fabio Cherant, Tafon Nchukwi and Nicolae Negumereanu. Ulberg has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came to Kennedy Nzechukwu at UFC 259. Ulberg has competed eight times as a professional MMA fighter and just two of those bouts went the distance.
Potieria (19-3-0) has won just one of two under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Mauricio Rua at UFC 283. Potieria also competed on Dana White's Contender Series, defeating Lukasz Sudolski by first round TKO. Potieria has earned 19 wins as a professional MMA fighter and nine of those came by way of KO/TKO.
UFC Fight Night is scheduled for Saturday, May 13 from a location to be announced with Anthony Smith and Johnny Walker headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
