Raw was okay but didn't make me want to buy the PPV. I may be wrong but I only counted four matches in two hours. Two very good matches, a debut, and a predictable tag match. Every angle was a set up for matches on the PPV. Edge rambling on about beating Cena in two weeks and John having to wrestle guys in dresses etc.. was a decent promo. But having Cena hit Edge with a chair and put him through a table doesn't prove he can climb a ladder and grab the belt. WOW. Jeff Hardy can talk. Nice shot at the Melina/Nitro press conference. Obviously Jeff is winning the belt at Unforgiven so interference by Melina in this match was expected. I didn't expect Super Crazy to jump to Raw. There goes another tag team on Smack Down getting split up as well as the loss of another good wrestler for the Cruiserweight division . Super Crazy vs. Masters. I'm glad Super Crazy won. Here's hoping that this isn't the start of a feud between the two. Jeff Hardy vs. Super Crazy or Johnny Nitro would be some great matches. Once again the lean and mean Masterputz is dull and boring on the mic and in the ring. Vince's ego rules again as future stars come in second so Vince can wrestle in the MSG Main Event against his son in law next week. We also have DX invading the only good WWE show tomorrow night. After only a few weeks The Highlanders get the tag belts at Unforgiven. We all know its happening so I don't need to see that match or order the PPV. Decent short match between the three teams. Bet Charlie Haas is wondering why he's tagging with Viscera and not Shelton Benjamin. Your fans are asking the same question. Gosh those Gangst...um... Cryme Tyme guys are funny. NOT. Lita pins Trish after Orton's RKO since this adds fuel to the Carlito/Orton feud and since Trish is leaving anyway why show her any respect. Cena was barely in this match. When Edge smashed Cena into the steps the cameras missed it. I bet Cena debuts on Smack Down in two weeks for the CW Season Premiere of Friday Smack Down.

You know, considering how smart he claims to be anybody want to tell Edge that SARS was eradicated? (Well that and try to run when you do the spear instead of walking most of the time.)

I don't really care what Vince was building up to with Hardy and Nitro, but Hardy should of had the title. The Ref could well of used his unrestrained hand to count the fall and end up with a angle of Nitro having a "Rematch Clause" to fuel the fire and give the fans what they wanted. And I think DX would had a much bigger pop if they got one swing on Vince, then Show and Shane helped him to the back quickly. Besides that the main event.... well just wasn't that exciting. I hope the ratings dropped so Vince will stop using these boring matches, with predictability to any fan since 1997. Now the Nature Boy angle was entertaining and I got a good laugh, but I did realize that this kind of teaches younger viewers that age old statement of sexism, "boys will be boys." In real life he could of looked at a lawsuit. I think this was a average, or mediocre edition which could use more flash and flair. Bring back the Hardy's with double gold and the Hardcore title (which would be good for bouts with ECW champs) and I think the ratings may give you a rise. Of course adding a new or old member of DX would be great too.

Unwatchable. This show was incredibly dull. I think I watched 20 minutes out of the two hours. Otherwise I played solitaire.

No one should've been fooled. WWE felt so unsure of their new tag team gimmick that they posted a warning of sorts on their website hours before RAW began. They tried to play it up as a fun, inoffensive angle, but it came off as racist and exploitative. Cryme Tyme is shameful, and I'm ashamed to be a WWE viewer.
I don't know what WWE won't do on their programming. Vince McMahon wanted to work in an incest story involving his own daughter, but somehow, that doesn't offend me as much as what I saw on RAW tonight. Okay, incest is rather disgusting, but it would've involved two human beings whose actions would not have been judged based on their race or ethnicity. Cryme Tyme is ethnically insensitive, and as a member of the Latino population-- not the African-American population-- I didn't enjoy it, despite wwe.com's attempts to paint their shame in a playful light. Vince McMahon should be ashamed, but he won't be. Time has proved that much to me.
