A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC 289 according to MMA Fighting as #13 Dan Ige faces Nate Landwehr.
Ige (16-6-0) has won two of his last six under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Gavin Tucker and Damon Jackson. Ige hasn't put a winning streak together for over three years and his last such streak lasted for six total fights. Ige has suffered six losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of those losses came by way of decision.
Landwehr (17-4-0) enters the contest riding a three fight winning streak, defeating the trio of Ludovit Klein, David Onama and Austin Lingo. Landwehr hasn't been defeated in over two years, with his last loss coming to Julian Erosa at UFC Fight Night 185 in February of 2021. Landwehr has earned 17 wins as a professional MMA fighter and eight of those came by way of KO/TKO.
