A women’s flyweight division attraction has been added to UFC 291 according to The Mirror as Joanne Wood faces Priscila Cachoeira.
Wood (16-8-0) has won two of her last six under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Jessica Eye and Luana Carolina. Wood hasn’t put a winning streak together in over four years and that last streak lasted for a total of two fights. Wood has earned 16 wins as a professional MMA fighter and 10 of those have come by way of decision.
Cachoeira (12-4-0) enters the contest riding a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Ji Yeon Kim and Ariane Lipski. Cachoeira hasn’t been defeated in over a year, with her last loss coming to Gillian Robertson at UFC 269. Cachoeira has picked up 12 wins as a professional MMA fighter, but she has yet to earn a victory by way of submission.
