A middleweight division attraction has been added to UFC 292 according to MMA Junkie as Gerald Meerschaert faces Andre Petroski.
Meerschaert (35-16-0) has won four of his last six under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Bartosz Fabinski, Makhmud Muradov, Dustin Stoltzfus and Bruno Silva. Meerschaert has won just one of four when competing on UFC pay-per-view events, with that lone win coming over Deron Winn at UFC 248. Meerschaert has earned 35 wins as a professional MMA fighter and 27 of those have come by way of submission.
Petroski (9-1-0) is undefeated in UFC competition, defeating Michael Gillmore, Yaozong Hu, Nick Maximov and Wellington Turman. Petroski competed on The Ultimate Fighter 29, making it to the semi-finals before losing to Bryan Battle. Petroski has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that defeat came to Aaron Jeffery at LFA 93.
