Warrior Wrestling Brings Matt Cardona, Vikingo, and Takeshita In a Return to Outdoor Shows for Warrior Wrestling 30: Friday Night Lights

Chicago Heights, Illinois (June 13, 2022) – Warrior Wrestling announced today the card for Warrior Wrestling 30: Friday Night Lights on Friday, June 30th, 2023 at Marian Catholic High School in Chicago Heights, IL. 

This will be the first “stadium” show – outdoors and under the lights – in two years for Warrior Wrestling. It will also be the final show at Marian Catholic (but not the final Warrior Wrestling show). 

“The Indy God” Matt Cardona, who has won seven independent wrestling championships this year, looks to add to his collection when he challenges KC Navarro for the Warrior Wrestling Championship. 

AAA Mega Champion Hijo de Vikingo, the champion of the largest lucha libre promotion in Mexico, will challenge Gringo Loco for the Warrior Wrestling Lucha Championship that Gringo defeated him for in Grand Rapids in March. 

AEW superstar Konosuke Takeshita returns to Warrior Wrestling to battle Warhorse. 

Plus – the “luckiest man in wrestling” Jordan Kross puts his streak on the line against Storm Grayson, Cole Radrick battles Sabin Gauge, the Bang Bros. battle Matt Knicks and Almost Incredible Iverson, and more to be announced! 

Tickets are available at This is a family friendly event. Kids 16 and under are FREE to the GA section and to the VIP Fan Fest with a paying adult. 

The VIP Fan Fest runs from 5:00 to 6:30. A VIP Fan Fest ticket allows guests to meet every wrestler and includes a picture and autograph from each one (except Matt Cardon, who is a separate meet and greet).  Card is subject to change. Doors for the show are at 6:30, and bell time is 7:00pm.
