By David Tees on 10/30/2023 10:09 PM

A middleweight division attraction has been added to the December 2 UFC Fight Night card according to Damon Martin of MMA Fighting as Cody Brundage faces Zach Reese.

Brundage (9-5-0) has won just one of his last four under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Jacob Malkoun at UFC Fight Night 228. Brundage previously competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, suffering a loss to William Knight during the 2020 season. Brundage is competing for the fourth time this year, making it his most active year as a pro MMA fighter since 2019.

Reese (6-0-0) is making his UFC debut in this encounter and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over two years. Reese competed on Dana White’s Contender Series as well, defeating Eli Aronov by first round submission during the 2023 season. Reese has competed six times as a professional MMA fighter and none of those bouts went past the opening round.

UFC Fight Night is scheduled for Saturday, December 2 from the Moody Center in Austin, Texas with Beneil Dariush and Arman Tsarukyan headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
