A light heavyweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Austin according to Marcel Dorff as Ihor Potieria faces Rodolfo Bellato.
Potieria (19-4-0) has won just one of three under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Mauricio Rua at UFC 283. Potieria did compete on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Lukasz Sudolski by first round TKO during the 2021 season. Potieria has earned 19 wins as a professional MMA fighter and nine of those wins came by way of KO/TKO.
Bellato (11-2-0) is making his UFC debut in this encounter and does so on the strength of a three fight winning streak. Bellato also competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, suffering a loss to Vitor Petrino by second round knockout during the 2022 season. Bellato has suffered just two losses during his professional MMA career and both of them came against the aforementioned Petrino.
