One UFC fighter and a Dana White’s Contender Series fighter have been disciplined by the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) during their latest meeting.
MMA Fighting is reporting that UFC fighter Miles Johns has had his temporary suspension extended following a failed drug test related to his last fight on September 23. Johns has tested positive for the M3 metabolite, which is found in DHCMT, better known as oral turinabol, an anabolic steroid. Johns is expected to be disciplined at a future commission meeting, but no date has been set for that at this time.
Chad Hanekom, who competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, has been suspended nine months by the NSAC after testing positive for cocaine, with the test being an in-competition one for his bout on September 5. Hanekom is able to fight again on June 5 of next year, plus he has been fined $750 and another $157.04 for prosecution fees.
