A welterweight division attraction has been added to the February 3 UFC Fight Night card according to Alex Behunin as Themba Gorimbo faces Kiefer Crosbie.
Gorimbo (11-4-0) has won just one of two under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Takashi Sato at UFC Fight Night 223. Gorimbo has spent the majority of his professional MMA career in the EFC Africa promotion, where he earned a record of 8-2-0 record. Gorimbo has earned 11 wins as a professional MMA fighter and six of those wins coming by submission.
Crosbie (10-4-0) is winless thus far in UFC competition, having dropped a bout to Kevin Jousset at UFC 293 in September of 2023. Crosbie won four of seven when competing in Bellator MMA, with those wins coming over Orlando D’Ambrosio, Oktawian Olejniczak, Hugo Pereira and Iamik Furtado. Crosbie has seen his last five fights end in the first round and it has been nearly four years since he fought past the opening round.
UFC Fight Night is scheduled for Saturday, February 3 from a location to be announced and with a main event to be announced. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
