A middleweight division attraction has been added to the February 10 UFC Fight Night card according to Rodrigues himself as Gregory Rodrigues faces Brad Tavares.
Rodrigues (14-5-0) has won three of his last five under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Julian Marquez, Chidi Njokuani and Denis Tiuliulin. Rodrigues competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, suffering a first round knockout loss to Jordan Williams during the 2020 season. Rodrigues has competed 19 times as a professional MMA fighter and just four of them have gone the distance.
Tavares (20-8-0) has also won three of his last five in the UFC, having defeated Antonio Carlos Jr., Omari Akhmedov and Chris Weidman. Tavares has suffered eight losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of them came during UFC competition. Tavares has earned 20 wins as a professional MMA fighter and 13 of those wins came by way of decision.
UFC Fight Night is scheduled for Saturday, February 10 from a location to be announced and with a main event to be announced. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
