A women’s bantamweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night 233 according to AG Fight as Stephanie Egger faces Luana Santos.
Egger (8-4-0) has won three of six under the UFC banner, having defeated Shanna Young, Jessica Rose-Clark and Ailin Perez. Egger hasn’t earned a victory in over a year, as her win over Perez came at UFC Fight Night 209 in September of 2022. Egger has earned eight wins as a professional MMA fighter and four of them have come by way of submission.
Santos (6-1-0) is undefeated thus far in the UFC, having defeated Juliana Miller by first round TKO at UFC on ESPN 51. Santos will enter the contest riding a three fight winning streak and she hasn’t been defeated since July of 2022. Santos has picked up six wins as a professional MMA fighter and three of them have come by way of submission.
UFC Fight Night 233 takes place on Saturday, December 9 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Song Yadong and Chris Gutierrez headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
