A middleweight division attraction has been added to the March 2 UFC Fight Night card according to the Iridium Sports Agency as Eryk Anders faces Jamie Pickett.
Anders (15-8-0-1NC) has won two of his last seven under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Darren Stewart and Kyle Daukaus. Anders hasn’t put a winning streak together of any kind in over four years and his last such streak last for two fights. Anders has earned 15 wins as a professional MMA fighter and nine of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
Pickett (13-10-0) enters the contest on a four fight losing streak, dropping bouts to Kyle Daukaus, Denis Tiuliulin, Bo Nickal and Josh Fremd. Pickett hasn’t won a fight in almost two years, with his last win coming over Joseph Holmes at UFC On ESPN 32 in January of 2022. Pickett has earned 13 wins as a professional MMA fighter and nine of those victories came by way of KO/TKO.
UFC Fight Night is scheduled for Saturday, March 2 from a location to be announced and with a main event to be announced. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
