REPORT: IKRAM ALISKEROV VS. ANTHONY HERNANDEZ ADDED TO UFC 298

A middleweight division attraction has been added to UFC 298 according to Damon Martin of MMA Fighting as Ikram Aliskerov faces Anthony Hernandez.

Aliskerov (15-1-0) is undefeated thus far under the UFC banner, defeating the duo of Phil Hawes and Warlley Alves. Aliskerov competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Mario Filipe De Sousa by first round submission during the 2022 season. Aliskerov has suffered just a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came to Khamzat Chimaev at Brave CF 23 in April of 2019.

Hernandez (11-2-0-1NC) enters the contest riding a four fight winning streak, having defeated Rodolfo Vieira, Josh Fremd, Marc-Andre Barriault and Edmen Shahbazyan. Hernandez has suffered two losses as a professional MMA fighter and both of them came in UFC competition. Hernandez has earned 11 wins as a professional MMA fighter and seven of them have come by way of submission.

UFC 298 takes place on Saturday, February 17 from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California with Alexander Volkanovski and Ilia Topuria headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+ pay-per-view.
