A featherweight division attraction has been added to the February 10 UFC Fight Night card according to the Iridium Sports Agency as Hyder Amil faces Shayilan Nuerdanbieke.
Amil (8-0-0) is making his UFC debut in this encounter and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over six years. Amil also competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Emrah Sonmez by unanimous decision during the 2023 season. Amil has earned eight wins as a professional MMA fighter and four of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
Nuerdanbieke (39-11-0) has won three of five under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Sean Soriano, TJ Brown and Darrick Minner. Nuerdanbieke hasn’t picked up a victory in over a year, with his last win coming at UFC Fight Night 214 in November of 2022. Nuerdanbieke competed just once in 2023, making it his least active year as a professional MMA fighter.
UFC Fight Night: Hermansson vs. Pyfer takes place on Saturday, February 10 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Jack Hermansson and Joe Pyfer headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
