There is a new heavyweight heading to the UFC as the promotion has signed undefeated fighter Robelis Despaigne to a multi-fight deal.
The fighter competed last night at Fury FC 84, winning his fight in the first round in just four seconds, which led to the promotion announcing his UFC signing a short time after the victory.
Despaigne has competed three times as a professional MMA fighter, defeating Katuma Mulumba, Travis Gregoire, Stevie Payne and Miles Banks. Despaigne has seen three of his four pro MMA fights end in under a minute, with those fights ending in 3 seconds, 4 seconds and 12 seconds. Despaigne also competed in the 2012 Summer Olympics, earning a Bronze Medal in taekwondo.
