UFC Interim Heavyweight Champion Tom Aspinall recently revealed that he would like to see the UFC strip UFC Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones of his title since Jones will be out until at least the Summer of 2024 due to a torn pectoral muscle injury.
Jones, who is recovering from the surgery to repair the damage, took to X to respond to Aspinall’s desire to have him stripped of the heavyweight title:

Zero wins over legends, zero title defenses and already thinking you can call the shots to Dana, that’s hilarious. In my 15 year career I have seen so many guys who are supposed to be the next big thing. There’s ever only been one Jon Jones, never forget that.
