It was reported that former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jamahal Hill was arrested last for for allegedly assaulting his brother.
MMA Junkie has obtained documents from the Kentwood Police Department (Michigan) about Hill’s arrest and everything allegedly began over an argument about whether or not Jamahal should’ve paid his sister-in-law $300 for cleaning his vacant apartment.
The UFC star and his brother, James Anthony Hill Jr., allegedly turned a $300 argument into something more personal after James allegedly called Hill out for not texting his daughter on Thanksgiving and being disrespectful to women. Jamahal allegedly punched James twice after that, while also allegedly shoving a female who witnessed the altercation.
James allegedly was conflicted about getting the police involved at all because he believed that it would ruin Jamahal’s fighting career. James suffered a swollen face and eye, plus a chipped tooth due to the alleged attack from the former UFC champion.
Jamahal is due back in court on January 22.
