A women’s strawweight division fight has been added to the February 3 UFC Fight Night card according to Marcel Dorff as Molly McCann faces Diana Belbita.
McCann (13-6-0) enters the contest riding a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to Erin Blanchfield and Julija Stoliarenko. McCann won the first meeting between herself and Belbita, which came via unanimous decision at UFC On ESPN 6 in October of 2019. McCann has earned 13 wins as a professional MMA fighter and seven of them have come by way of decision.
Belbita (15-8-0) has won two of her last six in the UFC, with those wins coming over the duo of Hannah Goldy and Maria Oliveira. Belbita has seen her last four fights go the distance and it has been over three years since the fighter got a finish. Belbita has suffered eight losses as a professional MMA fighter, but she has yet to be beaten by way of KO/TKO.
UFC Fight Night: Dolidze vs. Imavov takes place on Saturday, February 3 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Roman Dolidze and Nassaurdine Imavov headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
