A featherweight division attraction has been added to the February 10 UFC Fight Night card according to Brett Okamoto of ESPN as #13 Dan Ige faces #14 Lerone Murphy.
Ige (17-7-0) has won two of his last six under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Damon Jackson and Nate Landwehr. Ige has suffered a total oof seven losses as a professional MMA fighter and six of them came during UFC competition. Ige, again, has suffered seven losses in his career and all seven of them have come by way of decision.
Murphy (13-0-1) has won five fights in the UFC, with those wins coming over Ricardo Ramos, Douglas Silva De Andrade, Makwan Amirkhani, Gabriel Santos and Joshua Culibao. Murphy’s lone blemish as a professional MMA fighter was a draw against Zubaira Tukhugov at UFC 242. Murphy has earned 13 victories as a professional MMA fighter and seven of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
UFC Fight Night: Hermansson vs. Pyfer takes place on Saturday, February 10 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Jack Hermansson and Joe Pyfer headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
