A flyweight division attraction has been added to the February 3 UFC Fight Night card according to Marcel Dorff as Nate Maness faces Azat Maksum.
Maness (15-3-0) has won four of six under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Johnny Munoz Jr., Luke Sanders, Tony Gravely and Mateus Mendonca. Maness has suffered three losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of those losses came against UFC veterans. Maness has competed 18 times as a professional MMA fighter and seven of those bouts went the distance.
Maksum (17-0-0) has already picked up one win in the UFC, which came over Tyson Nam by split decision at UFC On ESPN 49. Maksum is still undefeated as a professional MMA fighter and that streak has lasted nearly seven years. Maksum has earned 17 wins as a professional MMA fighter and seven of those wins have come by way of submission.
UFC Fight Night: Dolidze vs. Imavov takes place on Saturday, February 3 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Roman Dolidze and Nassaurdine Imavov headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
