A flyweight division attraction has been added to the March 16 UFC card according to the Iridium Sports Agency as Ode Osbourne faces Jafel Filho.
Osbourne (12-6-0-1NC) has won three of his last five under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over CJ Vergara, Zarrukh Adashev and Charles Johnson. Osbourne hasn’t won a fight in almost a year, with his last win coming at UFC Fight Night 220 in February of this year. Osbourne has earned 12 wins as a professional MMA fighter and five of those came by way of KO/TKO.
Filho (15-3-0) has won just one of two thus far in the UFC, with that lone win coming over Daniel Barez at UFC Fight Night 224. Filho competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Roybert Echeverria during the 2022 season. Filho has competed 18 times as a professional MMA fighter and just two of those bouts went the distance.
UFC Fight Night is scheduled for Saturday, March 16 from a location to be announced and with a main event to be announced. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
