A women’s bantamweight division attraction has been added to the March 23 UFC Fight Night card according to the Iridium Sports Agency as Montse Rendon faces Nora Cornolle.
Rendon (6-0-0) has already picked up one victory under the UFC banner, with that win coming over Tamires Vidal at UFC Fight Night 228. Rendon has competed six times as a professional MMA fighter and all six of those bouts have gone the distance. Rendon also went undefeated as an amateur fighter, with one win coming by way of KO/TKO and one win coming by submission.
Cornolle (7-1-0) is undefeated thus far in UFC competition, having defeated Joselyne Edwards by decision at UFC Fight Night 226. Cornolle has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came to Jacqueline Cavalcanti at FFA Challenge 2 in July of 2021. Cornolle has earned seven wins as a professional MMA fighter and five of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
UFC Fight Night is scheduled for Saturday, March 23 from a location to be announced and with a main event to be announced. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
