Nora Cornolle has been pulled from the March 23 UFC Fight Night card according to C. Contreras Legaspi, replacing her against Montserrat Rendon is Dariya Zheleznyakova.
Rendon (6-0-0) has already picked up one victory under the UFC banner, with that win coming over Tamires Vidal at UFC Fight Night 228. Rendon has competed six times as a professional MMA fighter and all six of those bouts have gone the distance. Rendon also went undefeated as an amateur fighter, with one win coming by way of KO/TKO and one win coming by submission.
Zheleznyakova (8-1-0) is going to be making her UFC debut in this bout and does so after a victory at Ares FC 14 in April of 2023. Zheleznyakova has suffered just a single defeat in her professional MMA career, which came to Melissa Dixon at Ares FC 9 in November of 2022. Zheleznyakova has earned eight victories as a professional MMA fighter and five of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
UFC Fight Night is scheduled for Saturday, March 23 from a location to be announced and with a main event to be announced. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
