Former Bellator fighter Michael “Venom” Page will be making his UFC debut at UFC 299 according to UFC CEO Dana White, facing Kevin Holland.
Page (21-2-0) makes his UFC debut in this fight and he does so after winning seven of his last eight under the Bellator banner. Page had previously fought for the Bellator Interim Welterweight Title, losing a decision to Logan Storley at Bellator 281. Page also competed in the Bellator Welterweight World Grand Prix, making it to the semi-finals of the tournament before losing to Douglas Lima.
Holland (25-10-0-1NC) has won two of his last five in the UFC, with those wins coming over the duo of Santiago Ponzinibbio and Michael Chiesa. Holland also competed in Bellator, defeating Teagan Dooley by first round submission at Bellator 195 in 2018. Holland has earned 25 wins as a professional MMA fighter and 14 of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
UFC 299 takes place on Saturday, March 9 from the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida with Sean O’Malley and Marlon Vera headlining.
