A bantamweight division attraction has been added to UFC 298 according to the Iridium Sports Agency as Brady Hiestand faces Rinya Nakamura.
Hiestand (7-2-0) has won two of three in the UFC, with those wins coming over the duo of Fernie Garcia and Batgerel Danaa. Hiestand is making his UFC pay-per-view card debut in this encounter, despite having been with the promotion for over two years. Hiestand has earned seven wins as a professional MMA fighter and three of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
Nakamura (8-0-0) has already earned four wins in the UFC, with those coming over Gugun Gusman, Shohei Nose, Toshiomi Kazama and Fernie Garcia. Nakamura is still undefeated as a professional MMA fighter and that streak has currently lasted over two years. Nakamura has competed eight times as a professional MMA fighter and just two of those bouts have gone the distance.
UFC 298 takes place on Saturday, February 17 from The Honda Center in Anaheim, California with Alexander Volkanovski and Ilia Topuria headlining.
