A middleweight division attraction has been added to UFC 298 according to the Iridium Sports Agency as AJ Dobson faces Tresean Gore.
Dobson (7-2-0) has won just one of three under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Tafon Nchukwi at UFC On ESPN 51. Dobson competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Hashem Arkhagha during the 2021 season. Dobson has suffered two losses as a professional MMA fighter and both of those came by way of decision.
Gore (4-2-0) has also won one of three in the UFC, with his lone win coming against Josh Fremd at UFC Fight Night 213. Gore is going to be fighting for the first time in over a year, with his last victory coming in October of 2022. Gore has earned four victories as a professional MMA fighter and half of them have come by way of submission.
UFC 298 takes place on Saturday, February 17 from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California with Alexander Volkanovski and Ilia Topuria headlining.
