MAYRA BUENO SILVA BELIEVES JULIANNA PENA WILL STAY INJURED FOR THE REST OF HER CAREER

Mayra Bueno Silva and Raquel Pennington will battle for the vacant UFC Women’s Bantamweight Title in the co-main event of UFC 297.

Silva expected to fight former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Julianna Pena for the vacant title, but Pena was forced out of the bout due to injury and was replaced by Pennington. Silva doesn’t seem to be expecting to fight Pena anytime in the future, as she believes the fighter may be injured for the rest of her professional MMA career.

“Julianna will stay injured for the rest of her career,” Silva said with a laugh on the Trocação Franca podcast. “She doesn’t want to fight. She just wants to talk. All she does is noise. I have so much fun with her. Every time she posts something about me, it’s just funny to me. I hope this fight happens, because it will fans will have so much fun. I promise to beat the crap out of her and show who’s the boss.”
