REPORT: KRZYSZTOF GLOWACKI SUSPENDED 4 YEARS BY THE UKAD FOLLOWING POSITIVE STEROID TEST

By David Tees on 1/4/2024 8:57 PM

Krzysztof Glowacki scored one of the best knockouts of 2023 under the KSW banner, finishing Patryk Tołkaczewski at KSW Colosseum 2 with strikes while on his back.

However, it could be a long time before fans see Glowacki again, because the United Kingdom Anti-Doping (UKAD) has suspended the fighter four years after he tested positive for anabolic steroids.

Reuters first reported the story, while also revealing that Glowacki isn’t allowed to compete in any athletic competitions of any kind during the suspension. The failed drug test had nothing to do with the aforementioned KSW fight, but with a boxing match Glowacki competed at in January of last year.

Glowacki, who lost the boxing match, tested positive for an anabolic steroid known as Boldenone. Glowacki will be able to compete again in January of 2027.
