A featherweight division attraction has been added to the March 23 UFC Fight Night card according to Marcel Dorff as Luis Pajuelo faces Fernando Padilla.
Pajuelo (8-1-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this encounter and does so on the strength of a five fight winning streak. Pajuelo competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Robbie Ring by first round TKO during the 2023 season. Pajuelo has earned eight victories as a professional MMA fighter and seven of them came by way of KO/TKO.
Padilla (15-5-0) has won just one of two under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Julian Erosa at UFC On ESPN 45. Padilla has suffered a total of five losses as a professional MMA fighter and three of them have come against past/current UFC fighters. Padilla has picked up 15 wins as a professional MMA fighter and eight of them came by way of submission.
UFC Fight Night is scheduled for Saturday, March 23 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event announced at this time. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
