REPORT: MANUEL TORRES FACES CHRIS DUNCAN AT UFC MEXICO CITY

A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Mexico City according to Marcel Dorff as Manuel Torres faces Chris Duncan.

Torres (14-2-0) is undefeated thus far under the UFC banner, picking up victories over Frank Camacho and Nikolas Motta. Torres also competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Kolton Englund by first round TKO during the 2021 season. Torres hasn’t been defeated in over four years, with his last loss coming to Carlos Calvo Calvo at Crixus MMA 1 in September of 2019.

Duncan (11-1-0) is also undefeated in the UFC, with his wins coming over the duo of Omar Morales and Yanal Ashmoz. Duncan also competed twice on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Charlie Campbell and suffering a defeat to Viacheslav Borschev. Duncan also went undefeated during a brief run in Bellator, with all three wins in the promotion coming by KO/TKO.

UFC Fight Night Mexico City takes place on Saturday, February 24 from the Mexico City Arena in Mexico City, Mexico with Brandon Moreno and Amir Albazi headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
