Themba Gorimbo has a new opponent for UFC Fight Night 235 after the withdrawal of Kiefer Crosbie and Alex Behunin has reported that the new foe is Pete Rodriguez.

Gorimbo (11-4-0) has won just one of two under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Takashi Sato at UFC Fight Night 223. Gorimbo has spent the majority of his professional MMA career in the EFC Africa promotion, where he earned a record of 8-2-0 record. Gorimbo has earned 11 wins as a professional MMA fighter and six of those wins coming by submission.

Rodriguez (5-1-0) has won one of two in the UFC, with that single win coming over Mike Jackson at UFC Fight Night 212. Rodriguez has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came to Jack Della Maddalena at UFC 270. Rodriguez has competed six times as a professional MMA fighter and all of those bouts ended in the opening round.

UFC Fight Night 235 takes place on Saturday, February 3 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Roman Dolidze and Nassaurdine Imavov headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
