A heavyweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night 240 according to Marcel Dorff as Lukasz Brzeski faces Valter Walker.
Brzeski (8-4-1-1NC) is winless under the UFC banner, having dropped bouts to Martin Buday, Karl Williams and Waldo Cortes-Acosta. Brzeski competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, fighting Dylan Potter to a no contest during the 2021 season. Brzeski has earned eight wins as a professional MMA fighter and five of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
Walker (11-0-0) is making his UFC debut in this bout and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over three years. Walker is a former Titan FC Heavyweight Champion, defeating UFC veteran Alex Nicholson by fourth round TKO to win the gold. Walker has earned 11 wins as a professional MMA fighter and six of them came by way of KO/TKO.
UFC Fight Night 240 is scheduled for Saturday, April 6 from a location to be announced and with Marvin Vettori and Brendan Allen headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
