REPORT: RAUL ROSAS JR. FACES RICKY TURCIOS AT UFC MEXICO CITY

A bantamweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Mexico City according to Marcel Dorff as Raul Rosas Jr. faces Ricky Turcios.

Rosas Jr. (8-1-0) has won two of three under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over the duo of Jay Perrin and Terrance Mitchell. Rosas Jr. had competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Mando Gutierrez by unanimous decision during the 2022 season. Rosas Jr. has competed nine times as a professional MMA fighter and just two of those bouts went the distance.

Turcios (12-3-0) has also won two of three in the UFC, with his victories coming over Brady Hiestand and Kevin Natividad. Turcios also competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, suffering a unanimous decision loss to Boston Salmon during the first season. Turcios was the winner of the UFC Ultimate Fighter 29, defeating the aforementioned Hiestand in the finals of the reality show.

UFC Fight Night Mexico City takes place on Saturday, February 24 from the Mexico City Arena in Mexico City, Mexico with Brandon Moreno and Amir Albazi headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
