A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Saudi Arabia according to KOlmeneroMMA as Joel Alvarez faces Ludovit Klein.
Alvarez (20-3-0) has won five of seven under the UFC banner, with notable wins coming over Joe Duffy, Thiago Moises and Marc Diakiese. Alvarez hasn’t been defeated in almost two years, with his last loss coming at UFC Fight Night 202 in February of 2022. Alvarez has earned 20 wins as a professional MMA fighter and 17 of them have come by way of submission.
Klein (20-4-1) has won three of his last four in the UFC, with those wins coming over Devonte Smith, Mason Jones and Ignacio Bahamondes. Klein has seen his last four fights go the distance and it has been over three years since the fighter got a finish. Klein has competed 25 times as a professional MMA fighter and just six of those encounters went the distance.
UFC Fight Night Saudi Arabia is scheduled for Saturday, March 2 from Boulevard Hall in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia with no main event announced at this time. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
