A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Atlantic City according to Nolan King as Connor Matthews faces Dennis Buzukja.
Matthews (7-1-0) is making his UFC debut in this bout and does so on the strength of a two fight winning streak. Matthews competed twice before on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Jair Farias and suffering a defeat to Francis Marshall. Matthews has earned seven wins as a professional MMA fighter and five of them came by way of submission.
Buzukja (11-4-0) is winless thus far under the UFC banner, with those losses coming to Sean Woodson and Jamall Emmers. Buzukja competed four times in 2023, making 2023 his most active year as a professional MMA fighter. Buzukja has earned 11 wins as a professional MMA fighter and six of them have come by way of decision.
UFC Fight Night Atlantic City takes place on Saturday, March 30 from Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey with no main event announced at this time. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
