A bantamweight division attraction has been added to the March 16 UFC card according to Grigorious himself as Toshiomi Kazama faces Charalampos Grigorious.
Kazama (10-4-0) has won just one of three under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Keremuaili Maimaitituoheti at Road To UFC 1. Kazama hasn’t won a fight in over a year, as the aforementioned win over Maimaitituoheti happened in June of 2022. Kazama has earned 10 wins as a professional MMA fighter and five of them came by way of submission.
Grigorious (8-3-0) is making his UFC debut in this encounter and does so on the strength of a four fight winning streak. Grigorious hasn’t been defeated in nearly three years, with his last loss coming at Cage Fury Fighting Championship 92 in March of 2021. Grigorious has competed 11 times as a professional MMA fighter and none of those bouts have ended via submission.
UFC Fight Night is scheduled for Saturday, March 16 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event announced at this time. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
