Nate Diaz and former BMF Champion Jorge Masvidal fought once before, with Masvidal scoring a third round TKO win due to doctor stoppage at UFC 244 in November of 2019.
It now appears the rematch is set between the two because Happy Punch is reporting the two will meet in a boxing match this March. Masvidal, despite unretiring a few days ago, is still under a UFC deal, but Happy Punch reports that the promotion will allow him to box Diaz.
The bout is scheduled to happen in Las Vegas, Nevada and will mark Masvidal’s pro boxing debut, while Diaz is 0-1-0 as a pro boxer.
No other bouts or broadcast details have been announced for the card at this time.
