A middleweight division attraction has been added to UFC 299 according to Marcel Dorff as Michel Pereira faces Michal Oleksiejczuk.
Pereira (29-11-0-2NC) enters the contest riding a six fight winning streak, with notable wins coming over Niko Price, Andre Fialho, Santiago Ponzinibbio and Andre Petroski. Pereira hasn’t been defeated in almost four years, with that last loss coming to Diego Sanchez at UFC Fight Night 167 in February of 2020. Pereira has suffered 11 losses as a professional MMA fighter and eight of them came by way of decision.
Oleksiejczuk (19-6-0-1NC) has won three of his last five in the UFC, with those wins coming over Sam Alvey, Cody Brundage and Chidi Njokuani. Oleksiejczuk is back on a UFC pay-per-view card for the first time in almost two years, with his last such appearance coming at UFC 272 in March of 2022. Oleksiejczuk has earned 19 wins as a professional MMA fighter and 14 of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
